Following proper healing instructions is just as important as the treatment itself! Please read and follow these instructions.

With each treatment some redness, bruising, swelling, blistering and crusting is common. These symptom may last up to 2 weeks. As long as you follow the following instructions infection is rare. Please keep in mind the lightening process takes time, do not be surprised if the tattoo looks the same at first. Depending on your bodies healing process results will vary.

Apply a cold compress to treated area as necessary for 24 hours after treatment. This may provide some relief and reduce inflammation.

Tylenol may be taken for discomfort. (Avoid aspirin)

Leave bandage on for 24 hours, remove and wash treated area with antibacterial soap, gently pat dry. Apply a thin coating of ointment (bacitracin, a&d, Aquaphor) and re-cover with a sterile bandage. Do this twice a day for up to 7 days, or longer if needed.

Things to avoid for the first 7 -14 days….

Applying make up, cream or anything not recommended in your instructions, to the area during healing.

Exposing treated area to sun

Swimming or soaking in any type of water

Scratching or picking (this can lead to infection or scarring)

Do not shave treated area until fully healed
